I got the predator tuner and changed my shift points and firmness plus turned off torque modulation and it works great. As far as traction control, I turned it off completely and i have no trouble at all in the rain the trak lock rear end should keep you out of trouble in the rain as long as you dont get real stupid in the rain, like race.

the TC will only help you when you're starting off from a stop, not so much while driving anyway.

I've honestly never quite understood people who buy automatics then go and shift it as if it were a manual all the time... why not just buy a manual in the first place if thats how you like to drive ??

I have a B&M slap shifter in my 99 Auto. I love it. It makes it alot easier and safer to quickly go through the gears. I have a button that I can press and it will turn overdrive on/off. I agree with the others in saying it doesn't hurt the tranny, the computer or you will put it in the next gear, doesn't matter who it is.
where did you buy the B&M slap shifter??
