+1, best thing to do is find a club member, friend, guy @ the track, whoever, that has 4.10s and ask to ride along, or drive to feel the 4.10s or 3.73s out. I did and I am not even contemplating 3.73's. 4.10s are the sh**.

did you have them replace the bearings when you had your rear end apart?

The gear you pick depends upon your setup and how you use the car. I picked 3.73s because my car is a daily driver and I drive a lot of interstate miles. (They will be installed in a couple of weeks.) 2500 sounds about right for 75 mph. Your tach would have been around 2750 if you had installed 4.10s.

when i had nothing but an H pipe i could still hang with my friends auto GT that had full bolt ons ( minus headers) and 3.73's. sniper tuned and i still stayed dead even with him from a 50 roll to 130 something( on a track =]) i say get 4.10 or 4.30.

idk what the hype up of gears is just based on a 3.73, catback/midpipe auto 2000gt vert i rode in/drove... it didnt pull hard at all.. i took the kid for a ride in my car and his words were "this is DEFINITELY faster than my car.."

i didnt feel the pull at all.. it might've just been bc its an auto?? idk

i need somebody around here to take me for a ride/let me drive some GT's with 3.73, and 4.10's.. first hand knowledge is the best way to choose what you want on your own car...
