rim weight?

just wondering if anyone knows if rim weight plays an important part in rear wheel horsepower or takeoff ability?

important? No.

Does it impact it though, yes. Not the hp #'s, but the takeoff. You'd have to from lightweight 1" welds to like 20" chrome plated wheels to notice it though, even then, iffy.

its mostly for street credit. i spent like $400 per wheel on my audi. i bought the rays/volk racing wheels cuz they had street credit
