thanks for the imput guys. i want to go wirh an off road x or h pipe but dont want the check engine lights...could my diablo predator peremantly delete those?

it looks like in the link you provided that he just basically cut some extra pipe from the forwardmost section of the slp x? could be an easy fix for me to have my exhaust guy do when i get home in june. thanks for the link.

No prob man. Maybe print out them pics to show your exhaust guy what your talkin about. You predator will be able to turn off you CEL and can turn off your O2's.

you really dont need to mess with all that if the exhaust was clamped in and not welded. I have the lm1 and slp catted x on mine, i put it on myself. Just loosen all the clamps and have a buddy hold everything up high while you go through and tighten each band starting at the front. Mine sets plenty high enough, never bottoms out.

I had the same problem but with my Pypes violator exhaust the hangers were too long, so we cut them and re welded them and it worked flawlessly raised it all up about 3" no rubbing on the axles or frame. It wont change the angle if you jack up the mid-pipe while test fitting everything before welding the new hanger height.

the only problem with that is if your state requires you to get your car inspected the computer can read that your O2's are shut off and you wont pass inspection, it will just come up as not working properly.

The rear o2's are only there to to verify the cats are in place. MIL eliminators or a tune basically send a false signal that the cats are there even when they're not. You shouldn't run into any problems unless they look under the car.

unless you buy the expensive SLP long tubes you will have to do some custom work to make them bolt up.
