Default Springs or coilovers??

Well what are a good lowering springs? Im planning to get 18 inch saleens with 265/35 in the front and 285/35 in the rear. Will my ride comfortability change or should i get coilovers with shocks/struts??? I want it lowered to where it is close to the wheel well but not rubbing. Any ideas? or comments??

Whatever you decide to do you'll need to change the shocks and struts. Don't buy cheep, put in the extra money, look one ebay for some good deals, most kits go for $400 to $700. I have some cheep max lowering springs right now. I think all my shocks are blowen, when i go over bumps I hear a loud clunck in the back. it's pissing me off. So My advise to you is spend that extra 100 to 250 and get a compleat kit (springs, shocks, struts) try to keep the same brand, if you get bilstines springs try to get bilstine shocks.

For one.. I don't suggest coilovers, yes they are adjustable but the ride sucks. I would get some H&R Sportline springs and some Tokico shocks and struts.. I listed up two sites but you can get them cheaper than this.. The drop on the springs it 1.5 front and rear. I wouldnt go lower than that on 285/18's.

ok thanks! I will look into those! They are better than the coilovers tho? Because those arent even adjustable?

Just because you can adjust doesnt mean they are better.. If you want to spend 1000. on a set of good coilovers than you will get a decent ride, otherwise stick with springs. Just my opinion.. I've just had to many friends with coilovers on other kinds of cars and hate them.

The problem with eibach's is even though they are expensive they have a tendency to sag..
