you can get a good 99-04 for 8k pretty easy, and one that's modified should be less cause it's not stock. Saying that try to find one that has not been modified or one the only has like mufflers or something on it, modified cars get driven hard.

A 99-04 with 60-80k with a clean title and in good shape you should be able to get on your budget and those are not a lot of miles new cars are not like cars from the 60s &70s they last longer...usually

Even if it is in good shape when you inspect it rebuilt cars will typically give you tons of headaches down the road, that's why everyone is telling you don't do it and I agree

Okay guys, thanks. Just looked good after looking on auto trader for a month or two and finding nothing but 12k+ with 70k miles. Guess I'll just have to wait.

those are way overpriced, I got mine with a warranty that's now expired, in 2007 for 11k and it had 40k on it and a clean title

You have to be open to travel to. I went 5 1/2 hrs away to get my cobra. It took me 3 months to find what I was lookin for.

I guess, I'm trying to stay within 100-200 miles. But i guess if a good one presents itself within REASONABLE distance I could make the drive.

Any other good websites besides autotrader?

Autotrader and cars.com Also search ebaymotors.com

Put in your travel distance of 500miles. Thats what I did, I'm sure you will find something.

I took my dad with me to go along for the road trip. It was pretty fun, we stopped n had lunch along the way n everything.

I wouldn't touch it with a re-built title. Look on svtp for a great deal.

Do the miles look good for the price? Overall do you think it's worth it. It's not like I'm going to jump out and buy it.. just asking your guys' opinion about it.
