I had the same issue and used a mapp gas torch to heat them and they came off easily after a few heat and cool cycles. IF you use the heat try and get the flame on the bolt itself. Good luck,.

i think i have a propane torch laying around somewhere, ill give it a shot and see if it works

i broke off 3 of the 4 studs and just drilled them out and put in grade 8 bolts and nuts and it worked out great for me. as far as the pass side studs i got the hard one from the top side and the other from under the car... but im pretty wirey and got skinny arms so i could ha ha. o and i used lots of pb over the course of a couple days (had to let it soak). good luck
