Default Over drive and the track

quick question..

I kno already that you have to take the T/C when running at the track.. but... does it really make a differance if you take off the O/D?

I know people will argue with me and I dont care [8D]

MOST cars are set up to shift more aggresively when the OD is shut off but if you just floor it, it will stay in gear until redline or so and then shift so it shouldn't make much difference. I would shut it off unless you are running out of gear.

Yeah 3rd is good until about what 110ish. I know it shifts into 3rd at 85 on the line. So, leaving it on or turning it off won't affect it at all because you will never get to the 3-4 shift.

UNLESS you get 4.10's. I shift into overdrive in the 1/4.
