Damn...I can't decide what to get. I have the MGW and I hear people swear by all the others....tri-ax...pro 5.0...Hurst...

I already know what the tri-ax is like and I don't really want that. I am trying to find more info on the Hurst. It seems the $99 one on eBay is the comp/plus one whereas the one on summit racing is like over $200 and is the billet/plus one (but the handle is all different from all the pics I see).

Jazzer which Hurst do you have? does it look exactly like that ebay link? you are trying to sell it right? how much? you said your cut the handle shorter??

Yeah I wouldn't suggest the the Tri-ax unless you do a good amount of drag racing.

i love the look of my hurst shifter....but its notchy as ****.... i got used to it when it was my DD and i freaking loved it...i pulled the car out after winter and took it for a drive and realized how ****ty the shifter feels... everyone who drove my car complained about it and i never understood why until i didnt drive it for a few months and then got in and tried... once you get used to it its a nice shifter, but if i could do it again i would have gone with a pro 5.0

Hmm...so you have the comp/plus or the billet/plus? It seems that the billet/plus has less of a notchy feeling then the comp/plus. I might want to try the billet/plus one out. Now I need to figure out which shifter stick I shold use....I know Hurst has like 901389284 different kinds and I other shift sticks like pro 5.0's work on it too right? I really want to try one that sticks furthest back so I can have an easier reach. But I kinda also want to have a black Hurst **** which I think would only work with a Hurst stick.
