Default 10% Overdrive crank, boost gains vs. pullying down

Would a 10% I/W overdriven crank give the same boost increase as going from 3.12 pulley down to 2.9RR pulley??

Obviously the O/D crank will keep more wrap on the pulley and you wont have to worry so much about belt slip but is the boost level gains still the same?

Redundant questions i know.

If your making 15lbs you should be making 18lbs just by adding an overdrive crank.

Does it add 3 psi to whatever boost your running, or does it vary according to the amount of boost your running?

Also, what would be the benefit of changing the crank pullet over the blower pulley? Faster spool?

The advantage is belt slip control. It allows you to run a bigger s/c pulley and have better belt wrap.

How do you know if you're getting belt slip if the Dyno graph doesn't fluctuate to show it?

I've never heard of someone getting Belt slip with a 3.12 pulley and I never had any possibility of complaints. I made way more power than I expected back when I had the 3.12 pulley. Is that normal for that pulley or just when dropping to the 2.9 pulley?

Default 10% pulley IMO was great mod

I put that 10% crank pulley on my car and was a great addition, I still have my series 2 on my car with stock upper and Im running almost 10 psi. Love that pulley.
