your car comes with an 8.8? Unless you got into some major accident and its trashed. Anyway check out online salvage yards and your local salvage yards.

ah crap. really? Ok, forgive my ignorance. I need a driveline to support my power goal and good traction. Will mine hold up with 3.73s?

everything you want will be fine, under 400 rwhp with 3.73s your rear end will be fine.

You may want to cross over to 31 spline though if you are really worried about it

yeah i remember reading somewhere on here that slicks will do some damage after dropping the clutch a few times. I think I was reading that 12s gt budget build post. 31 splines huh? bullet proof? how much we talking ontop of the 3.73 gear swap(roughly)?

Well nothing in cars is bullet proof, but it will be very very strong.

Not an expert on everything with this change over but you are probably looking at 250-300 for the axles and you will need a 31 spline posi which is about 200. I'm not the expert though on this at all since it's nothing I was ever going to do to this car

You will need a new diff and axles to upgrade to 31 spline.
