One, you need to find out about your brothers Acura. Give us a list of mods other than just an engine swap. What engine, H22, B16, B18? Most likely, he is the one that is really taking the pounding to you, because you should be able to walk that camaro and the charger you have to be getting. It is a V6 and those things make no power. I would look into a PI swap like everyone else said and also maybe a driver mod is in order? The next thing would have to be gears and tune. Then all your friends and family should be bowing down to your greatness.

If you do the PI swap and can't beat the V6 camaro easily something is really wrong.

2nd- if after the swap you can't beat the charger something is wrong.

On topic- Get the pi swap done it's like the first thing every npi driver gets done

Bluebloodedpony, the charger V6 makes 250 HP but it is a heavy car at 3800 lbs.

The acura isn't much faster than me. I don't know the name of the engine, but he got it out of a honda CRV. Its a 2.0L, with some mix and match parts from his integra. According to him you can bolt just about any chunk on honda made engine to any other chunk of honda made engine and it works. Kinda like legos. haha.

The Charger is fast though. It carries it's weight well. The driver is also a crazy S.O.B. so that could have something to do with it. The charger has a limiter of 117 mph, but he's gotten to 120...going downhill in a residential area. haha. That was fun.

Gears for the transmission? And by tune, do you mean one of the electric tuner things, and if so, what is a good one?

The gears are for the rear end.

the tuner is one of those "electric tuner things" it plugs in under your dash and reprograms your PCM for better performance: better shift points, air/fuel mixture, timing, etc.

i don't understand why everyone thinks those chargers are so fast, even the srt which runs in the thirteens is not that much faster than me and everyone thinks my car doesn't nearly feel as fast as those. like it would make me look pathetic

I think I could do rear end gears. I see ford racing makes a 3.73 and a 4.10. Lots of other ones by other makers. What should I get for gears?

What tuner should I get? I know there is a lot of crap ebay stuff that say they are tuners, I don't wanna get one of those. haha.

My friends charger doesn't feel fast at all, actually. I'll be riding in it, and it feels like we're going about 40, I'll look over and the speedo says 90! Its the smoothest ride I've ever felt. It goes around corners great too. My mustang likes to go sideways...
