Default Car wont idle

My 96 GT is bone stock except for a TR-3650 transmission. When I go to stop for a light sometimes my car just quits. I am rather frustrated with it now because I have put so much money in it and the car still isnt right. The speedometer works sometimes, and sometimes it doesnt. I disconnected the battery to reset the speedcal and now the theft light blinks for a minute or two. Has anyone had any issues with their car stalling for no reason?

i will clean it first thing in the morning, I just felt that it was an unusual occurrence that the car had been running just fine then all of a sudden it started stalling every now and then.

Possibly your TPS (throttle position sensor) even though I would think that it would throw a code.

If you haven't gotten it tuned since the swap then check your decay rate.

The car hasnt thrown a code yet. The theft like blinks a lot then it quits after a while.
So I would have to get the car tuned just for a trans swap even though I have a 5 speed computer in the car now?

The 3650 has an electronic speedo. So does the computer have a VSS (speed) input and is it a 99+ ?
