Default Mid Pipe Im boggled!!!!

Hey guys purchasing a new mid pipe this weekend and installing it as well ill have a sound clip up soon as i get it done, but I was wondering I have a Bassani Catback Im looking for a mid pipe that is going to give me a nice sound but not be over done and crazy loud for cops to pull me over something i can cruise at low speeds with out killing my ear drums and to avoid the highway drone, someone told me that X pipes do not drone as much as a H pipe on the highway is there any truth? And what are you guys running on your cars and how do you like them? btw im going to be going O/R so yes i know it will be noticably louder but dont want defening loud whats your thoughts on Bassani X pipe vs. Mac prochamber also?

I noticed that my x pipe gave me a less raspy sound. h pipe was more raspy and deeper.
i dont know if it affected drone in any way. never payed any attention to it.

Before my long tubes, I had a pypes o/r x with my bassani cat back. I loved it. It had a nice tone while driving and would sound even better when you got on it.

get the bassani with cats... theres really no hp gain in running the o/r, like 1-2hp only, but when you buy it that way, it comes with the o/r deletes.. so if you have a dyno at your expense, you can prove its not worth the raspy sound.

i have the bassani catted... sounds MEAN and i still passed smog in Cali.

I think that's the first time I've ever heard anyone say an X pipe was less raspy than an H.

OP: As long as you keep the cats, you'll be fine volume wise.

Bassani O/R X. It barely drones on the highway and cruising it is not too loud. Once you go WOT it is a completey different story hehe
