Alright so today i took my shifter boot and the piece out to see what type of short throw shifter i have ( pro 5.0 ). And now my traction control will not turn off, wondering if maybe it is just a fuse or what the deal is? i took the traction control part out and disconnected it and put it all back together, and turned the car on, and it still wouldnt turn off. And i was wondering if the pro 5.0 short throw shifter for the t5/t45 can be adjusted, because it feels like in 2,4, and R it has to come further back, then it does going into 1, 3 , and 5th. And it also slips out alot in reverse. Any help would be appreciated, used the search forum couldnt find anything. Thanks in advance.

I don't have traction control but as you know there is a wiring harness on the back of the plastic shifter surround. I would check them again. I would also try to disconnect your battery for 5-15 minutes and reset everything.
