If you're car is completely stock at least in the air intake aspect, then many people say to just get a K&N drop-in filter and remove the snorkel instead of getting an aftermarket CAI. You'll get similar gains for much cheaper. If you wanna still get a CAI then K&N and JLT seem to be the best (probably partly because the intake tube isn't metal). I recently got a K&N FIPK CAI for my car but I bought it used off ebay for much cheaper than new.

i would just do a drop in. Unless you want to spend $200+ for 2rwhp at best.

I would just do a drop-in as well. Why buy an entire new pipe? On a stock new edge the stock cai is hardly the choking point of our cars.

Isn't 01GT46 currently the highest or one of the highest n/a 4.6l 2v member on these boards and doesn't he use a k&n drop in and a de-snorkled air box.

Well a filter isn't that expensive...so she could do both? But yes do gears first. Then exhaust!
