Default MIL eliminators for an offroad x pipe

I recently bought an offroad x pipe for my 1998 Mustang. I don't have the $500 for a SCT tuner, so I want to buy some $60 MIL eliminators for the rear O2 sensors. If I install these will it prevent my car from running lean? or just turn off the check engine light?

they will just keep your check engine light off so you dont have inspection issues.

You can make your own for $5 or so...
