ignition switch?
 

Im hooking up my autometer guages and am going to run the power through the ignition switch like it says too. I was wondering which wire i need to hook up to for the guages.

Obviously one that's hot when the ignition is on--convenient places to get at such a source are the pink/black wire at the t/c switch, or the pink/light blue wire at the rear window defrost switch. Either of these are good sources as they are each fed from 15A fuses (#5 for the t/c and #23 for the defrost), and both are very lightly loaded with a less than 1A to 2A OEM draw.

There are a number of others up under the dash, but they can be a PITA to get at.
