I went to the store and theres so much of everything...all purpose, and of course they had the sand paper for metal, but they only had like 600 and 1200 grit and some other random numbers. Ive also heard about wet sanding? Did you use metal primer? what kind of paint was it. I know its a lot of questions, but I plan on doing it this week, and yours look really good. I have a black vert, so im thinking a really shiny black paint would look good, but im still really lost.

ive thoght about jus painting mine, but i want torun a wider tire and cant because my wheels are 17x8's. ill keep them for winter use i suppose. I am getting some shelby torq thrust's in black though, theyre really nice

Just get sandpaper it doesn't matter what its for. You do not sand down to the metal just scuff the sruface you want to paint. Pick what ever color paint you want and a clear coat.

I painted my mirrors with a gun when I was fixing my door and fender after an accident.
