I'm getting my mechanic to replace my heater core...

My hoses are leaking a little and one is punctured. The core itself is cracked.. I saw fresh coolant drops inside my car.


Where (online) would you buy a new heater core for my car? What kind would you get? What hoses and clamps do I need?


I saw an OEM core that was $40 with shipping on ebay. I wasn't sure if I should get OEM or something beefed up.


My mechanic also recommended I get silicone hoses...



Any input would be greatly appreciated!

So I just need to know where I can buy silicon hoses for the new core. Any ideas?
