Dang. Looks like 4.10 or 4.30 would be just like loosing O/D at 70MPH. Do these numbers look right for 17" 245/45 wheels?

Yeah these numbers are pretty much accurate, thats why with a stick I would get the 4.10's and automatic 4.30's. Believe me the pull is incredible after you get these in. You will see what I mean..

4.10's at the minimum!!

T3650 RPM rate with 4.10 gears at 70 MPH in 5th gear: 2331 RPMs
T3650 RPM rate with 4.30 gears at 70 MPH in 5th gear: 2445 RPMs

3.73's will leave you short at the 1/4 especially if your are n/a

I wonder what the ratios in the new 05 trannies look like? 5-speed o/d auto?

I bet 4.56's in that are like 4.10's now.

You have to remember that the older tranny (like mine) will be 200-300 rpms higher than those numbers you listed. That is why I would not want 410's on my car.
