Default Running funny, sulfur odored smoke from exhaust.

Just finished washing my car for the first time today, went to run down to the store. Get down my street, and the I noticed that the car started running funny. It wasn't a nice engine sound, the car was shaking a bit, and the check engine light started flashing. I pulled over and got out, and there was tons of smoke coming out my exhaust pipe. It had hint of sulfur to it. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

you got a misfire and the excess fuel bombarded the cats, hence the sulfur smell. have the code(s) pulled and post them up here

It'll be fine to drive even with the misfires? The closest Autozone is 25 minutes or so away.

What color was the smoke? White or black?

Did you wash down the engine bay when you were washing it?

It was white. I didn't wash the engine bay, but water might have gotten in through the hood scoops.

getting water on the engine isnt the problem. id check the intake for cracks. sounds like the engine may have been burning some coolant through the intake manifold. Check the oil to make sure it doesnt have coolant mixed in with it (milky color). If it does then you have a blown head gasket. If this is a non pi car with the plastic coolant crossover tube on the intake, I would almost bet the intake is what it is. Time for a new pi intake swap...
