Default Just picked up a 99 GT Convert.....Couple of ?'s

I know this has probably been asked before but I didn't find a definitive answer via search..........Anyway I have a 99 and my headlights are old, ugly and oxidized. I see the later year cars have nice projector type headlights. Can these be retrofitted on to my car? I'm assuming so since they're the same body style (99-04). Is it pretty straight forward?

Also I really want to buy a light bar for my convertible........but i've seen some really high prices out there on the net......($479). Is that what they go for, or is there a good place out there with some good deals?

-my drivers side seat is ripped up (seems to be pretty common), any suggestions on getting it fixed. Should I just go to an upholstery place and have it re-wrapped, or is there an OEM seat cover than can be bought?

-rough ride, Car seems a little "wobbly" and "loose" it has 105k miles, what can be done to stiffen up the ride a little bit, and prevent body-roll? New shocks, springs maybe??

-Car is pretty much stock, any suggestions on first mods?
Thanks in advance.
Never owned a mustang before, and I'm really starting to like it!!

full length subframe connectors, new shocks/struts and lowering springs will give the car a real nice feel and add some ridgity.

For your ride quality, i would get some new shocks/struts, and springs.

Your first mods, go with gears, then exhaust.

I have a 99 gt vert also. I had the same headlight problem as you. I found headlights from an 03 on ebay and the fit perfect and look so much better. Mine only has 38k on it but I wasnt happy with the handling either so I got H&R race springs. They lowered it about 1.25 and now it rides much better. You will probably need struts and shocks as well with the higher miles, Tokiko hp (blues) are great on the mustang and arent too expensive.

I highly recommend having full length subframe connectors welded, get new shocks/struts (Tokico HP are great value as previously mentioned) and springs of your choice.

I had a "loose" ride as well, new shocks/struts fixed it as the stock ones were completely worn out.

For ride quality i say do Eibach sportlines with some shocks and struts and caster camber plates and subframe connectors.

Performance: get her sounds good then do gears and a tune.
