brake pedal going all the way down

Default brake pedal going all the way down

hey i have an 02gt just changed the pads on the front got in to drive it and the pedal goes all the way down to the floor before it stops. drove it around the block and it still does it. am i going to have to bleed the brakes and if i have to do i just need to bleed the front brakes?

sounds like u got a busted brake line, if all u did was change pads then no u shouldn't have to bleed anything

park it on concrete or blacktop and pump the pedal a few times, look underneath and see if u see a puddle

if not look around the bleeder screws maybe ones came loose somehow

Sounds like you need to bleed the brakes. Do the fronts and drive it around. If it works then you're done.

it may be a caliper, i had that problem on my sixer, had to change the caliper

You also could have air in the master cylinder. Bleed it after you bleed the lines.

bleed the lines and did you pump the brake pedal until it got stiff before you took it out?

+1 I changed my front pads backed it outa the garage and my brakes didnt work I slammed it back into park before I got going to fast and pumped the brakes.
