Default alright.best place to by deepdish bulit wheels and recomended cruizing tire and size?

looking for 18s i guess. bullitt style, and either chrome or the gunmetal finish. i have 1 1/2 inch spacers on the rear stockers right now. i would like the tire set flush with the fender in the back, and maybe a little more in on the front. any reccomendations on places to shop and i need tire sizes and brand for more of a cruizing. i dont race much. thanks

I bought my deep dish bullitt's from http://www.latemodelrestoration.com . They were shipped to my door within 5 days. The only thing I didn't like about the wheels, the first winter use here in Pa., the salt started to eat through the clear coat around the outer lip. I sanded off the clear coat and polished them up with aluminum polish.

I recommend you forgo a 1.5" spacer, as that is WAY too much, IMO. I run a 1/2" spacer and installed longer/stronger studs to support them. If you want to fill the well, I recommend a set of 10.5" wheels. Check my sig for a pic of my 11" wheels (started out as 10.5"s that were widened). They have the spacers mentioned and are maxed out with out tub work or rubbing. I would hit up American Muscle for LOTS of choices and info on off-set/back-space dimentions.

As for tires, this is determined by your needs and then your budget, IMO. If you are looking for a good DD tire and good traction, I hear good things about the Nitto NT555's. As for width, I am partial to a 315/30/18" out back and if you go 9"s up front, a 265/35 is a nice fit.

Without knowing the off-set/back-space of your wheels, I cannot say if you will rub or not. I am certain you would rub going 10.5" out back. I just don't like they type of spacer that has its own set of bolts due to thickness of it. I think a plain spacer with holes only is the way to go with longer/stronger lug-bolts is best.

as stated before, OE wheels or American Muscle. both are site sponsors and bot have good prices on wheels, with OE being slightly less expensive
