Default Looking at buying this mustang GT. What do you think?

2002 GT has 110k miles all stock the original owner is selling it. He is an older dude so I'm thinking he took good care of it. He wants 6500$ That is a good price from what I have seen. There is nothing wrong with it im just kinda wried about the miles 110K is a lot. But there is a lot of 4.6 mustangs with more but it still has the original transmission, engine and clutch. Do you think 6500 is a good price or should I try to go lower? The dude is real cool so I feel like a dick asking for a low price LOL. I appreciate the help.

You may be able to find one with drastically lower miles for just a bit more, but that one looks really nice. A well cared for car with 110K miles is better than a dogged on one with 30K miles.

i'd take a well cared for 110,000 miles anyday, you know the car has been looked after.
give him the $6500 and those front floor mats and start modding.

LOL the floor mats will be gone as soon as I get the keys.
But I was thinking the same 110k miles is a lot but not that bad if it was taken care of.

o i love the thing it really wakes these 2v up. yes it is intercooled no issues with it has about 4k on her now but i rather sell the whole car plus all the extras i have on it. my father just bought another gt500 wrecked and we are putting it together so i wish i had the cash to start modding that up once it is finished. i will be bringing it to tillman speed in philly this friday to get her in the low 400rwhp range. then she is all set. the car is a rocket.

Nice, you do any upgrades to the drivetrain to handle the extra power? What about suspension mods?

That looks like a pretty darn clean car for 110k miles...My 04 GT has got like 33k, I bought it used with 26,800 and the paintwork almost looks it's been to hell and back.
