Default Thinking about running a 50-100 shot

I have been considering nitrous because it definatly is the most HP for the money, makes other bolt ons not seem worth it. A bottle of nitrous should last a long time on a 50 shot im assuming. Also a 50 shot would probably add more HP than all bolt ons too right?

My car is completely stock- for a 50 shot could i just leave it all stock and run 93 octane in it or should i get some different spark plugs?

100 shot im guessing i would need to get a tuner and remove some timeing and get diff colder spark plugs.

Would a window switch be necessary for a 50 shot? with 100 id definatly get a window switch i guess just to be safe, i dont want to blow this engine because i cant really afford that. How much is installation of a nitrous kit usually? Any tips? thanks

this is the kit i am considering, a wet nitrous plate kit http://www.blowbyracing.com/niexfoefipls.html 500$ , what else is necessary to buy with this kit to be safe?

100 shot is safe on our cars. You do not need to pull timing for 100 shot or below. You only need to pull 2 degrees of timing for every shot OVER 100. I get about 10-15 full races out of my bottle at 100 shot. If your a manual a window switch is safe. You dont want to spray while over rev or bounce off the limiter because your car can detonate... IMO 100 dollar something window switch is cheaper than a new motor. For 100 shot get 1 step colder plugs. Thats a good deal if you want NX. If you live in a cold area, bottle warmer would be nice if you want full effect. If your lazy bottle opener. If you have any other question ask.

I'm not going to pretend to know a lot about Nitrous but that^ seems awfully fishy to me....

Nope not needed. The computer will automatically adjust for it.

I'd be scared as hell... Does that mean I run a 100 shot on top of my 600 horse Vortech car, lol?

To that IDK, but i dont think so. I believe you would have to pull some more timing.

Dimebag runs 100 shot untunned. I did it for a while. Tons of people do it.
