Default Should i build my own?

Intake manifold? Ive been fabricateing parts for cars since i was 16. built a couple sheetmetal intakes for friends. one was for a 5.0 and the other was for a Z31 300ZX.

do you serious think you have the capabilities to fabicate an intake manifold in your garage. If you do, more power to you. But i'm gonna bet you can get a better one with less of your time/money from summit

yeah i know i can fabricate one. i run a small business and i have a shop on 12th and chicon. been a certified welder since i was 14.

by the looks of your cars, id say if you got the time and money, go for it. try it anyhow if it works then great. and after you make it and it doesnt work, well then buy another one[sm=bounceybounce.gif]

I've been a tool and die maker for 20+ years and even though it may be possible - I would never spend that amount of time with a one time thing like that. It seems to me that would take a very long tiome to develope and test. I don't even see how you could machine it. Wouldn't you need a mold. I think you're stretching it a bit.
