Is spraying my headlights with nighshade a bad idea?
i'm wanting to smoke my headlights but don't want to buy smoked headlights. i am a decent spray painter and just did my tails and it looks sweet. i just want to smoke then out some but is that a bad idea?

I think this is likely to come out poorly.
Spraying is probably going to be VERY difficult to get applied evenly and end up blotchy. You will probably end up quite dark and your night vision would be decreased.
I recommend ***THESE*** as they are wonderful:
Spectacular illumination with HID's and darker lens. Many convert their stock ones to HID, but lots of "bleed-off" light makes them hard to aim due to reflective backing inside. This often leads to oncoming drivers flashing you

i have 8000k hids right now. i don't know about those. they look kind of ricey. yeah i was thinking the same thing that it might turn out blotchy and look like crap. i was trying to test it out on a coke bottle with the clear plastic but the nightshade down then clear over it. it turned out ok but again it was a little bit blotchy and i still think it might look bad. i was just wondering if anyone did it and how did it turn out.
