I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that the Stingers are the XR-1 mufflers...but, I could be wrong.

Put the stock H on with the Stingers, you'll be fine.

I got pulled over the week before last and he wrote me a ticket, and said he wouldn't file it if I fixed it, asked for him at the police station, and showed that I had made an attempt to quiet it down.

Fortunately, I used to work with, and am friends with, a girl who recently got married...to a cop. Ticket gone.

But I'm still not happy. It was only given to me to, yes, meet a quota.

It clearly said in the newspaper that the community was attempting to raise money, so cops were on a 'blitz' over the week and were going to be strictly enforcing the seat belt laws, and everything else under the sun.

I have an slp catted x and LM1s and i have def. gotten some ****ty looks from cops before but still never pulled over for the noise. But ive been pulled over for every other possible reason so oh well! haha. Maybe go to the PD and ask them to sound meter your exhaust as is, that way you can atleast see where you stand. I dunno.

+21309473948723948734 and AMEN.

I've had Harley's blow by me and I felt like I was about to go deaf.

I would have asked that cop how many Harley's he's pulled over lately, which is probably none because he rides one too. Just like a typical hypocrite cop.

Alot of harley davidson motorcyles with aftermarket exhaust or have exhaust modifications are making over 100 decibles JUST IDLING. If yor car has emissions legal catalytic convertors and legal mufflers then you shouldbt have gotten this ticket. I know many states will not allow past 86 decibles on street legal cars. Just to get an idea of how loud some cars really are, an increase of 3 decibles equals to bieng TWICE as loud as before.

I'm not gonna fight it...i'm just gonna try to get it signed off. I just hate being nailed for stupid ****. I'm mostly annoyed because I am confident that I got pulled over on friday just because the cop was bored and had nothing better to do than to find someone to give a hard time to

but in all reality you WERE braking the law IF its louder than what Ca allowes not everystate has the same laws. check into it and then make the cops prove you are too loud....
