No rust...and the cap was the first thing I replaced when the light first started coming on. I hate throwing parts at the car to try to fix it, but Im at a loss. Unfortunately I may have to do the smoke test on it, hopefully it doesn't cost too much. I hate paying others to do work I can do myself!

I haven't noticed any leaking of fuel, checked from the tank all the way up to the injectors and don't notice any leaking.

what is a smoke test? and where would one go to get this done?? average cost?
