Default 2V twin turbo options & opinions

I'm looking to go with a twin turbo kit pretty soon. Was debating on which kit to get. I see a few different kits out there. They have the turbo horsepower, hellion, turbocharged power, etc. Anyone has any experience or opinions on any of the twin turbo kits out there for the 2V motors?

The only kits I've seen for new edges are the hellion kit and the HP Performance kit, which is probably what you saw on turbochargedpower.com. IMO, the HP is a better kit. It comes with it's own headers instead of wasting all that tubing going from the stock manifolds around the K to the front of the car. If they really do have a long tube design like that site says, that should be an awesome kit. But I have heard that HP can take quite a while to get your parts. A member on here had quite a few problems with them I believe. From what I've read you want both exhaust velocity and heat to spin a turbo, so the closer and the less bends needed, the better. You could get a custom kit from someone like MMR, but then you're talking about a lot of money. What other mods do you have??

No. You dont need twin turbos. Thats over kill. First that kit cost like 7K so you can be at 450 rwhp... no. Go single.

He has a great reputation.

Go here, http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/in...758&board=32.0 there they will give you the answers better than i can give them to you. That turbo can push out 750 rwhp.

Personally if I was set on twins, I would run either the HP Performance kit or the THP kit. I like the header design on both kits. With the HP I'd be concerned with some of the things I've heard about dealing with the company, with THP I'd have to ask them if they had any problems with underhood temps due to the mounting location.

Something else to think about for you, ask these companies and people on here with turbo setups about supporting mods. I've heard that at as low as 8psi with a turbo setup you can begin to see some valve float, so you may want to think about some better valve springs. I'm sure there's probably a few other things people will recommend.

with out a forged bottom end the t.t's are over kill, you will not be able to use their potential. also, make sure you realize if you do get them that your gt isnt made to handle much boost and it is very possible you can pop your bottom end of you stang. i personally like hellions kit better.
