I read up on the whole thing and it seemed like only one guy had something really bad happen. The other two people who actually had it were fine with it. Maybe I misunderstood but the plastic one is not worth it but the polished one is. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i have it, not worth it, unless your going to juice. a tuner said you actually have more HP with the crap-plastic stock manifold. the typhoon looses about 5HP....so he says. anyone want to back this up?

I'm going to put a procharger P-1sc 3 core into my 03 GT at the same time. Is it worth it then or still a bad idea?

well i'm not saying it's going to do damage, cause everything is fine with mine. how much are you going to be paying for it?
personally i don't think your going to need it. plenty of prochargers are doing ok without it. unless your going to be doing some SERIOUS psi, you'll be fine without it. save the money for some other mod

payment for it is like $500-$600

I'm going to be getting because one of the guys at mustang specialists told me that if I didn't want to go with forged internals (and I don't) that I should try to let he "breathe" more so since I have full exhaust already done he told me that I should go with the accufab/plenum combo (he actually told me to go with a BBK since the numbers were so close but I told him to go with the accufab because I know they make slightly better numbers and I know their the "good stuff") and go with the typhoon intake manifold and with that I could be making 400rwhp safely because I also plan on once everything is done getting a dyno tune and calling it a day for my GT. I think with everything I'm getting I'll be fine and satisfied. Knowing that I would be close to keeping up with a stock corvette Z06 is more then enough for me.
