the stroke isn't really too long as it sits, its still good 7k rpm. I think the 5.4 swap is good for about 50 more ftlbs, plus the im cooler than you factor.

3rd gear it lasted from 3000 rpms to about 4500, I braced my self for it and it still kicked me back in the seat pretty good lol. Followed by a big bang and lots of flames. It was kind of like watching the challenger rocket ship, pardon my humor.

thanks man will do, im debating on weather i should have someone do the swap for me or if i should attempt it myself considering i don't have a garage and my driveway is at about a 30 degree incline. those two just sound dangerous. How difficult would it be to cherry pic the tranny and engine in one shot and put in the new one?
