Default what is this oil splatter

im looking at buying this car but i dont no what the heck this oil splatter is from
is it normal?

Hard to tell from these angles. Did you check to see what it actually was? It could be a few things. Can you wipe it up and see what it looks/smells like? Maybe get a lighted pic of the timing cover

but if i was looking at buying car and the engine bay was that dirty i would walk away as fast as possible

well not totaly true because it was an older lady that drives the car
and owns it original owner
and the best part is that its a 5 speed!!!!

as others have said, its hard to tell. that's is a pretty dirty engine bay. however I wouldn't run away from a car just because the engine bay was dirty.

whats the asking price?

It's A/C refrigerant from your lines. But I'd leave it alone, it seems to be trying to clean that disgusting motor of yours.

well the reason why i said stay away is because if they dont take a little time to clean the engine bay then did they take care of the rest of the car

I agree....Clean engine bay really good...Take your time with some type of carb cleaner...Then when its nice and decently clean, you can see where the nasty fluid is coming from.
