Default to much power!!what to do??

alright fellas i showed my dad a video of my friend amy(yes a girl) that has a 03 gt runnig 12.00 s on a full bolt on g and mild heads and cams and he agreed to let get nitrous. im looking at zex 50 shot but right now im getting long tubes put on. so ill be estimating with all my mods and 55 shot i should be around 325rwhp.should i get a stronger clutch now before the long tubes so it wont coust so much later. and if so what cluch would yall recomend please reply

you should get that thing on a dyno when you get all the mods on it for a tune. The 325 RWHP is possible with the 55 shot, but you might find that you are a little disappointed. The dyno tune might get you there.

If you are going to get a new clutch, I would do it when you are doing the LTs, just for the easy access.

The stock clutch will hold up to 400 rwhp and several hard launches on slicks before it starts slipping. 300 rwhp wont kill it any time soon. But if you really wanna grab and go with out any slipping I would suggest a Spec stage II or III. Im about to invest in a Spec stage IV for my car.

The stock clutch would do it for now. The no2 wont hurts it that bad. You could still get some life out the stock clutch is my guess. Also I don't know how you drive and if the clutch has been abused or not that all has to do with how much life it's got left in it. If you r going to swap clutches I'd go with spec like Jdaniel said.

Spec clutch for sure and do it when you do your long tubes. I went over 4 years on the stock clutch running between a 100 and 125 shot and when I upgraded to a Spec, my stock clutch was still holding up.
