Default i think i reallllly messed up my car this time

man guys i was driving home from work and this camaro z 28 ls1 was at the light.i wated for him and we went from a second.latly i havnt been able to hit third gear. i would go from 2nd and speed shift to 3rd but instead of going in ang scratching the tires itll stop itself from 3rd. it wont grind it it just feels like theres a wall and i cant go thrue it.so today i went from a second and slamed it in i mean hard and it went straight in but when i letr out the clutch it felt like the something locked up and just felt like i slammed it in reverse.do yall no what happend. i think i might have slammed it in firstandwas to much spead.

how does it shift into second when the temp outside is cold?

There is a syncro TSB for those cars.

1st 2 second is great 3rd to fourth is great 2nd to third sucks a$$ 4th 2 fith is to far over

Definitely sounds like you have an eaten syncro, especially sinse you said this problem happens "lately." Now, if you jammed in first gear while at 70 mph, that might have put too much tension on your flywheel and messed a whole lot of things up in your tranny. Lesson learned: When you know your transmission is buggy, don't go street racing!! Oy vey.

mine used to be a tad difficult to get into 3rd during the winter. it shifts like butter now. didn't even need the TSB done to it.
