I installed my Steeda UD’s today. Did not install the Steeda water pump pulley though, as it did not align with the other pulleys (it stuck out about ¾’s of an inch from the others). Is this normal? I didn’t want to chance it shredding my serpentine belt due to a misaligned pulley.

I know Ford changed the water pump pulley in mid 2001 and Steeda makes two different set of UDP's to accommodate this. MAyne you got the wrong set. I had Steeda UDP's and each one bolted on just fine. Check the year.

That's what I was thinking, but they bolted on just fine - they just don't line up like like the stock (H20) pulley does. My invoice says "Mid 2001+ Mustang GT". Wonder if they sent me the wrong shat. Gonna call em (MustangTuning) on Monday...

i just had the same problem with my BBKs. ford made two different water pumps in 2001. it sounds like you have a long water pump and as with mine you will need to get the ones for a 96-00. these will fit.

This happened to me too. I got the Steeda's from ebay. They sent me the correct ones, but my car has the wrong ones (middle of the year)? I did the same thing you did...ran it with only 2 UDP's until he sent me the different one.
