Sup Guys O/R X Pipe Question

Ok im looking to buy a off road x mid pipe on the 30th of this month and I already have the flowmaster super 44's on my mustang already. What I was wondering is do I need the one that is catted or the one without, also it has the option to buy MiL connecters or something like that do I need those? And Also it has the option to buy High Flow Ceramic Catalytic Converter Kit do I need this? I know this is a noob question but I just wanna be sure.It comes stock with the H-pipe if im not mistaken would the conversion go smoothly? Would I need to cut any pipe or should I just take it to the shop? We don't have any emissons test in Mobile AL, so im going with the pypes brand.

I have a 2000 Mustang GT
Automatic
CIA
FLowmaster Catback Exhaust
more to come..

A o/r pipe just means there are no cats on it. To cat or not to cat? That answer is up to you. Cats are more emissions friendly, but since you are in AL, that isn't an issue. There is the raw exhaust smell you have to put up with. Some people like it, others can't stand it. The o/r pipe would need MIL elims since you don't have cats. It will turn you check engine light on and the mil's keep it turned off. At Americanmuscle, you can purchase the pipe either way. it is like 180 for the o/r x and 340 with the cats. IMHO, I would go o/r x, no cats, and get the mils. It will sound awesome bolted up to those super 44's. You can always youtube it to hear what that setup sounds like. Hope this helps. With your 00, you will need a torch to get those nuts off the headers. I haven't done my mid-pipe yet, but the catback would have been a PITA if i didn't have a good set of torches to heat it up. I would say, give it a shot yourself, since it is pretty simple. If it starts to kick you @$$ then take it to a shop.

Forget the cats since you live in AL. Torch would be helpful, but isn't necessarily a must have. I got mine off with just a socket wrench..just had to soak with PB blaster a LOT. I would not buy MIL's. I'd just wait until you can afford a handheld tuner and disable the rear O2's that way. It will not hurt your car to run without the MIL's. you're going to get a check engine light, but its just going to be for the rear O2's and does not effect engine function.

Or he can make his own MIL's for 5 bucks.

If they are not weld-ins, then it is this:

But since that is for the 40's, i am suspecting weld-ins. or he swapped for 44's.
