RE: are pulley's worth it?
i have the march u/p and i noticed a decent gain for the price. the only thing i don't like is at nightime the lights on my gauges dim a bit when the car is at idle, so i raised the idle rpm to 150 rpms higher than normal. problem solved.

I know a guy who has BBK pulley's he's wants to sell for $70, are they worth it? He also has a trick flow intake for $40 I am considering buying.

Well the BBKs are piggybacks so you won't see as decent of a gain as a set of march or steedas. I just got my steedas put on and they realy help the engine rev, it's awesome.

You're not only talking one HP. I had my piggy-backs initially installed without the dampner bolted to the crank pulley and it revved and pulled extremely hard for such a simple mod, I was baffled that it'd make such a HUGE difference. My mechanic called me the next day to tell me the dampner needed to be bolted to the new crank pulley and it didn't feel much different than stock, it really sucked. Next time I have some cash laying around I'll be picking up the right crank pulley with a dampner built in.
