Canned SCT Tunes

Guys, the tunes that come on the X3 are they decent? I know I don't have a ton of mods but aren't the tunes based on "stock" parts? I will be adding my headers shortly as well. Think it will be ok?

I got a "custom" tune from modulardepot for mine and I'm doin just fine on motor and a 100 shot

i got the same "custom" tune from AM... no problems at all...

I think you guys missed the question. I am talking about the pre-loaded tunes that come on the SCT device standard.

caned tune + headers= < HP. and will these headers be long tubes or shorty? either way u arent gonna get max potential out of a generic tune.

They definitely understood your question.

I have an SCT with a "custom" tune through American Muscle and its great. No problems whatsoever and its three times as fun to drive.

Canned tunes are just what they are, if you're serious about your stang at all you will get a custom tune. There are too many variables to assume that a canned tune is "ok" for your car.
