Clutch burning?

RE: Clutch burning?
your clutch was sliping then if the tires & the car werent going any where, have you drove your car sence then? does it still do it? if so then probably a new clutch is needed, my friend replace the clutch, but did not get the flywheel resurfaced and it wore out in 1,000 miles.

RE: Clutch burning?
I just drove it and it seems to be fine. I got on it hard and shifted quickly and it felt ok. I just think I won't powershift anymore[&o]....it was cool cause I could bark third gear everytime LOL.
I'll just keep an eye on it for the time being.....but I'm going to the track this Wed. so I kinda want to power shift. But I think I will control my urges for the sake of my clutch.[8D]

Powershifting is when you keep your foot on the gas while you depress the clutch to shift gears. It keeps the RPM's up for the next gear. When I did it I never kept it at full throttle, but I didn't really let it completely off either[8D]
