Default Steering Problems After K-member Install?

i just got my kmember all installed and put back together and i noticed that the tierod ends are really at an extreme angle since the car is lowered. Do i only need the steeda bumpsteer kit to correct this angle problem? thanks

If I am not mistaken, aren't all the K-Member kits direct replacements? Therefore you should not be at an angle if you weren't before. Did you drop it and put the kmember on at the same time? If so, I would see a need for the kit.

Not my area of expertise, but I am very interested in the answer as well a I am looking into Kmembers.

What brand did you get?

i bought a team z motorsports kmember kit and it didnt fit the greatest. It took alot of prying with a big punch to get the holes to line up right. and yes i dropped the stock one out and put the new one right up. I really don't think any kmembers are a "direct bolt-in" know matter what they say.

u have to get caster camber plates, most kits say they are required to correctly line the wheels up

yes the bumpsteer kit will fix the problem, i assume you noticed a difference because 1. the rack mounts could be slightly different 2. you changed ride height with the coil over install. make sure you get it aligned afterwards. if the bumpsteer kit doesn't give you enough adjustment (im sure it will every one i've put on has) you can get the offset rack bushings as well.

I dont know, your supposed to take measurements and fit the K member. I remember reading an install manual and its more complicated then just a direct bolt on. You may be well fugged up

i dont know what you read, but you don't have to measure something to get it to fit. Its all good now anyway...
