Has anyone bought a used Supercharger? I'd be worried about buying used parts since I don't know how well they were or were not taken care of. Has anyone been screwed buying used parts?

if u do heads and cams first then a supercharger down the road u will have to change the cams to accept the blower. n/a cams hold the valves open to long and harm the supercharger.

He could also just get Blower cams now and then get the blower whenever. He'd still gain about 25-30 hp he just wont see the full benefit until the S/C on. I gained 50rw with a half tune for idle.

I bought my kit used just make sure you buy it locally if possible so you can see it. You will save a ton of dough and with this economy they are going cheap. I saw one the other day within this forums go for 2000 on a 5400 kit.

naa he'll be fine with n/a cams, he just wont make as much hp as he would with blower cams. id say you'd see 380rwhp or so with cams and maybe 310-315 rwhp with h/c. stage 2 comp cams will work fine.
