Default Problem with clutch

My friends and I are stumped. It started out as a normal day, about 50 degrees out, I start the car up to warm it up, and as I take my foot off the clutch in neutral, I can hear a ticking sound coming from under the hood, I put my foot back on the clutch and release slowly (again, at a stop in neutral) and the noise stops... This happens every so often, even when the car is warmed up.
For the clutch pedal itself, today I noticed as I was on my way to work, the pedal was sticking as I released my foot off it. About two or three times I had to put my foot under the pedal to pull it up. Note: I didn't learn stick on the car, never burned the clutch, it's always been very soft and slick up until recently.
Every once and a while, as I'm making a slow sharp right turn, I can hear a a quick pop or snap sound, like as quick as when you snap your finger.

I tried searching the forum for this same problem, only finding how to install new clutches, witch will come in handy if I have to replace the clutch, hopefully I want have to though! I'll appriciate any suggestions and help! Thanks!

Jon

Possibly a throw out bearing? At least that's what I would figure.

I'm sure someone knows more about this than me, I just saw you had no responses as of yet.
