Why would you do it? just to save weight?
Never heard of it and probably not worth it IMO....mightaswell spend $150 on a lightweight drycell battery and save 30+ pounds off the drivers side corner of the engine bay than do that

i might buy a lightweight battery in the future but i'm trying to do all the free mods that i can right now first cause i'm short on cash. i don't think i'll have to buy anything to convert the seat and it should shave off about 10 pounds or so
