Default Review my suspension upgrades

I am going to be modding my suspension here shortly. I have decided that suspension is next. I can't stand the 4x4 look of it. I figure I will do it right the first time and knock everything out at once. Do not want to spend more than $1250 though. My list looks like this:

H&R Super Sport springs
Isolators for springs
Steeda CC plates
Steeda bumpsteer kit
KYB Adjustable Shocks and Struts
and then top it all off with an alignment.

I figure I am looking at about $1100 with this list. Is anything too much, not enough, missing something?

Hey, I have that similiar set up.

I think you will be happy with an overall good performing/handleing car.

My only suggestion would be to ditch the bump steer kit, and go for sub frame connectors instead.

I don't really have any problems with bump steer, so my car does not have it.

If you venture into ANY of the above directions, go SFC's

^ Oh, those are in the plans, but they fall into the "hey look, a hundred bucks, what to spend it on?" section . The reason for the list, is one alignment and one hacking the suspension apart. I hate doing things twice when it can be avoided. As for goals, just want it to 1. look good and 2. handle better. I have yet to really run the track, but that is the plan for the summer, so I guess track times would help, but not necessary.

I installed springs, shocks and sway bars about a year ago and I noticed an incredible improvement and no 4x4 look. Just recently however, I added SFCs, FLCAs, RUCAs, RLCAs, and CC Plates and I noticed an improvement equal to the one I saw previously. If you're gonna go all out then you're gonna need to spend more than $1200. But like the guys have said, depends on your goals with the car.

Dont mean to thread jack, but what are: FLCAs, RUCAs, RLCAs

And general questions- Is there anybody who has had experience with both adjustable and non-adjustable aftermarket shocks? Is the adjustability really worth the extra bucks for someone who doesn't autocross, but carves a few country roads here and there?

How do the Tokico HP's compare to stock ride; any smoother but firm right when you need it?

haha I wouldn't call that thread jacking. Front Lower Control Arms, Rear Upper Control Arms, and Rear Lower Control Arms.

As far as the adjustability goes, I didn't go for that (or coilovers for that matter) since I don't autocross or do any serious tracking. I couldn't justify the extra money for that. I also wouldn't see myself changing my settings just for a night of driving or anything unless I tracked my car.

The Tokico HPs are a great replacement. I would say they are pretty similar to stock comfort level (I got them at the same time as my springs which made the ride more firm so its my best observation.) They do firm up when you're pushing them though and that's definitely nice.

Been a long time since I bought my parts so prices may be off but order of what id buy
MM panhard bar $325 - best single handling mod if you want to whip around corners.
full length sub frames about $100
My steeda sport springs were on some holiday sale for $180
and got my bilsteins for $530 all around
This would be my preference but that leaves you without CC plates.
In your budget I'd take the struts and shocks down a notch or so to have spending room for them.
