Default BRAKES! Help :) rotors etc.

What would be the best rotors to upgrade to (slotted/drilled or whatever) for the price/performance.

yeah i am on stock brakes, just need a new look and wouldnt mind the performance upg.

here is the best bang for the buck....my buddy just got these for his 03 gt and look sick behind his saleens....he paid the 379...then installed for under 100 bucks if you cant do it yourself...stops reall good!!

did that couple months ago. i say go with the cobra kit that would be enough u dont really need drilled/slotted rotors.

you say cobra kit.. where link me. I want to make sure its what I am thinking.. is it a kit with calipers? are they red??

DVS that is the link for the cobra kit, its the stainless steel front braided lines, calipers, pads and rotors...all you have to do is install it..

If you're going for best value, you can't go wrong with the Cobra kit. As far as rotors, go for slotted, not cross drilled. Cross drilled rotors have a higher chance of cracking, they wear the pads more, and the holes decrease the surface area of the rotor used to stop. I went with Stage 3 Motorsports Roush/Alcon 14" Front 13" Rear kit and I love them! The front calipers are 4 pistons vs 2 for the Cobra kit and it was only $1k for the whole setup.
