i do the same. Sure the oil is designed to lubricate better for a longer period of time, but it still gets dirty just as fast, and the sooner you put clean oil in the better it will protect.

nanaki try the royal purple, you WILL fell a difference and it will protect &last longer than many syn. oils out there, go to www.royalpurple.com and check out the reviews.
SilverGTv8 have u had the tsb done to your car for the 3650?? If not and you are out of the 36k miles take 1/2 qt out of your tranny (there is a revised lower level for the fluid according to the tsb) and it will shift even better, i did it 2 days ago and i have no more rough feel going into second + i am using the royal purple tranny fluid.

I run it in the car front to back and haven't noticed anything odd, other then the 1-2 of the 3650 being smoother.

Any synthetic is better than dino oil, but I would not pay more than Redline prices which is what I am using in my 03 Mach1. I also use their filters.
