Question seat match - up?

I might be able to get my hands on some factory seats out of a 1999 GT. I have a 1997 GT and was wondering, Do the seats from a 99 fit in a 97 without any modifications or different seat brackets?

I researched this awhile back as I was gonna do it. It has to do with the wiring of the seatbelts and the electric seat have different harness, basically not plug-n-play. Also seatbelts in the 96-98 are not hooked to the seats like the 99+ which is an easy fix

YES. It's almost a direct match I put 01 GT cloth in my 95 V6 and there is only a few mods needed.

1st- The seat belts do not match. On one (forgot which is which) the female end is on the seat and on the other, the female is on the chasis. So you will have to take your old famale off.

2nd- If your current seats and the seats your swaping are both power then you will use the the bracket from the new seats.

3rd- I will try to find my diagram but there will be SPLICING required but you if you have a volt/ohm meter and some elec. knowledge you can do this easy. I do remember there is like 4 wires on the SN95 seats and 6 on the New edge seats. You will split the 6 wires and have to murder your old seats Quick connects.

Like I said I will have to look for my Diagram I made but if you have any questions about this messege me and I can probably help.

Exclamation Problem Soved!

So, I found my thread when I was doing this... Just ignore the talking... the info you need is on the last page at the very bottom. That's the exact way I did it and I had all seat functions. You go from like 4 lumbar motions to 6 and all should be functional.

Hope this does it for you.
